Behind-the-scenes photos from Haiti

January 12th, 2010. A 7.0 magnitude earthquake violently shook Port-au-Prince, Haiti at 4:53pm local time.  It lasted only a few seconds but the damage caused was unimaginable. Officials estimated 316,000 people died, another 300,000 were injured and a more than one million people were left homeless. Dr. Sanjay Gupta arrived in Haiti just 12 hours after disaster and has returned to Haiti six times since to report on the aftermath and struggle to rebuild lives and distribute aid. He continues to follow the fight.
